Marketing (Freelancer)

For Statement Piece, Checkpoint Theatre’s first production of the 2025 season, I conceptualised and executed a series of content pieces to support the show’s marketing campaign. This included filming and editing behind-the-scenes interviews with the creative team, as well as designing EDMs to engage audiences and build anticipation for the production.
In addition, I applied SEO strategies and utilised digital advertising platforms to extend the campaign’s reach beyond the theatre’s existing audience. These efforts contributed to increased visibility, stronger engagement, and ultimately supported ticket sales through thoughtful, targeted content distribution.
Assistant Producer
2020 - 2022
Across the years, I’ve had the opportunity to assist in producing a series of Deepavali infomercials for the Ministry of Digital Development and Information of Singapore, the Health Promotion Board, and Vasantham. From scouting vibrant locations and casting the right faces to coordinating with stakeholders, I helped bring each concept from pitch to screen—staying true to the creative vision every step of the way.
I also captured behind-the-scenes moments on set, turning them into teaser content that gave audiences a sneak peek into the magic behind the camera—and helped build buzz around the final release.
Video Content Producer

During my internship at the National Youth Council, I pitched, shot, and edited several videos, including the launch of two new content series: Heartland Hypegram and Hype for Hikes. These projects allowed me to develop skills in concept creation and video production from start to finish.
I also partnered with the editorial team to produce a variety of engaging content pieces, collaborating closely to ensure consistency and quality across their digital platforms.

As a marketing intern, I was responsible for creating various collateral materials that were featured across social media platforms. This involved designing visually engaging content tailored to each platform’s audience, helping to amplify the reach and impact of promotional campaigns.
In addition, I captured behind-the-scenes footage and rehearsal sessions, providing authentic glimpses into the creative process. These candid moments were used to deepen audience engagement and build anticipation around upcoming events.

As team director, I led the creative process by conceptualising ideas and integrating contributions from all team members to shape a cohesive vision. I wrote and directed several videos that resonated with audiences and gained positive online reception.
Additionally, I developed and implemented a social media marketing plan aimed at increasing content visibility and engagement across our platforms, successfully boosting views and audience interaction.
