I believe photographs are the closest thing we have to a time machine. With this belief at heart, I created my photography account on Instagram, @TheBlankProjector, to immortalise fleeting moments and memories. Inspired by the local scenes around me, I am driven to capture the beauty and essence of my homeland, offering a unique perspective through my lens.
Shot primarily on film, these photographs carry an added weight of care and intention—capturing honest, local stories with warmth and depth. In a world of instant images, they serve as quiet pauses—reminders to look closer, and to remember.
Capturing the 2025 General Election as a first-time voter pushed me beyond my comfort zone. I was challenged to document both the chaos and the quiet—moments of tension, reflection, and resilience that gripped the nation.
